Position Overview

The Parts and Service Director will oversee and manage our parts and service department, ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team development. This role is pivotal in driving department growth, managing resources, and maintaining High Ground’s commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the parts and service teams.
• Manage day-to-day parts and service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, repair workflows, parts procurement, warehousing and order fulfillment.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding quotes, repairs, and updates.
• Oversee warranty administration and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain and improve the safety and efficiency of shop operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase service revenue and customer retention.
• Supervise the maintenance and organization of all equipment, tools, and service vehicles.
• Collaborate with sales team to support new equipment delivery and rental fleet maintenance.
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment that reflects High Ground’s standards.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution. 

Qualifications

• Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial service management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Preferred:
  • Knowledge of material processing and tree care equipment.
  • Technical or mechanical background with experience managing technicians.
  • Familiarity with warranty processes and service department budgeting.
