CRUSHING and SCREENING Sales & Support Specialist $60,000 – $150,000

 Are you interested in a ground-floor opportunity with New England’s fastest growing heavy equipment dealer? High Ground Equipment is the New England Dealer for Terex-Finlay (Crushers and Screeners), Terex-CBI (Grinders and Chippers) and Terex-Ecotec (Shredders and Trommels). We provide equipment rentals and sales as well parts and service support for all product lines. We also list and sell pre-owned equipment. Currently serving 200+ existing New England customers. We are currently located inside the Terex manufacturing facility in Newton, NH – moving to an independent facility in 2020 to be located in the Southern NH (Manchester, Rt101 East – area).

HIGH GROUND EQUIPMENT has recently added the Finlay line of Crushing and Screening Equipment. We are seeking a qualified, experienced CRUSHING and SCREENING Sales & Support Specialist. At High Ground, we have fun. We’re looking for a self-directed and responsible person – who believes that making money and delivering world-class customer service is both rewarding, and fun.

As High Ground’s Crushing and Screening Sales Support Specialist, you’ll lead High Ground’s Crushing and Screening effort. You’ll have the ability to represent Finlay, CBI and Ecotec material processing equipment. You’ll join us on the ground floor, establish a leadership role and help the company grow.

Compensation will include salary, commission and company-performance incentives, vehicle expenses, health Insurance, dental, company-paid life insurance, paid vacation and more. Commensurate with experience, compensation for this position will range from $60,000 to $150,000, with the opportunity to earn in excess of $200,000.

Responsibilities

  • Review and understand customer’s material processing requirements to determine effective equipment solutions, and present a quality cost/value proposition
  • Coordinate & perform pre-delivery and equipment start-up / customer orientation as well as equipment post-rental inspection
  • Configure machines and optimize their controls to meet the material processing needs of our customers
  • Know and communicate the features and benefits of the equipment and maintain knowledge of current inventory and availability
  • Solicit service revenue and repair/maintenance agreements & projects from existing and potential customers
  • Understand and participate in product support activity as well as sales support for current & future customer needs pertaining to replacement wear parts.
  • Prospect for and pursue equipment sales and rental customers using lead generation and prospect management tools – working with Salesforce.com online CRM to capture and cultivate opportunities
  • Responsible for overall growth of territory sales, new machine sales/rental as well as service and parts revenues
  • Occasionally deliver parts to customers
  • Assist in providing trade value and machine trade evaluations
  • Assist sales/service departments with units on rent, wear evaluations and system trouble shooting
  • The position will require road travel (some overnight) within New England – you do not need to live near the High Ground facility
  • Assist with inventory management and fleet planning
  • Provide prompt response to customer inquiries and communications
  • Participate in online/phone and in-person staff meetings
  • Safety-First ~ Wear necessary PPE and actively support safety policy, goals, and objectives and use sound environmental practices

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Crushing and Screening experience is necessary
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision with good planning and time management skills
  • Have experience with, have an aptitude for – or the ability to learn how to operate all products and models of equipment sold by High Ground
  • Must be creative, positive, motivated and have the highest level of ethical standards
  • Able to learn and use Salesforce.com and Google Drive platform and demonstrate email/text/phone skills and etiquette
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to understand financing options and communicate effectively with customers
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle, bend, stoop, reach, climb, sit, stand, and occasionally lift 40lbs supported or unsupported – and work inside and outside in various climates, temperatures, and/or adverse conditions.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and pass a criminal background check

HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC – FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – ENGINEER $80,000 – $135,000

HIGH GROUND EQUIPMENT is seeking a qualified HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC – FIELD SERVICE TECNICIAN/ENGINEER to support customer and company owned Crushers, Screeners, Grinders and Shredders. We’re looking for a self-directed and responsible Field Service Technician who can operate and inspect equipment, diagnose issues, define and perform needed repairs. Our Field Service Technician – Engineer will begin with an appropriate level of experience and receive manufacturer-based training, certification and ongoing support for all the products we represent.

As High Ground’s Field Service Technician/Engineer, you’ll participate in the growth of New England’s newest Terex Material Processing dedicated dealer. You’ll get comprehensive training on the products and have ongoing direct access to manufacturer technical support resources. You’ll operate a company vehicle that you’ll help us purchase and outfit. You’ll have the opportunity join us on the ground floor, establish a leadership role and help the company grow.

Compensation will include a base level of salary or hourly rate up to $35/hr – plus significant incentives for parts sales, service sales, equipment sales bonus and the overall performance of the company. During the early stages of business development, you’ll receive guaranteed earnings. Compensation for this position will range from $80,000 to $135,000.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure customers receive equipment in working order and post-rental inspections to identify wear and/or breakage
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment problems, propose the best possible solution, and perform the work needed on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and structural systems. Identify and replace defective parts – disassemble and reassemble machines as needed to restore operation. Utilize schematic diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Configure machines and optimize their controls to meet the material processing needs of our Customer.
  • The position will require travel (occasionally overnight) within New England to perform work both in the field, and at High Ground’s location and to attend factory training classes
  • Maintain positive and effective interaction with customers, fellow employees and equipment manufacturers
  • Keep and communicate accurate records as it relates to repair orders and time records
  • Able to generate accurate & detailed service reports using company supported software such as Salesforce.com and Google Drive platform as well as proper email/text/phone etiquettes
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally
  • Be responsible and care for company owned tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Safety-First ~ Wear necessary PPE and actively support safety policy, goals, and objectives and use sound environmental practices
  • Work with High Ground staff to order parts and provide quotes for customers

Qualifications

  • Heavy equipment service/maintenance knowledge
  • 2+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience necessary, crushing and screening experience helpful.
  • Post-secondary mechanic training is strongly preferred, but a combination of education and work experience will be considered
  • Proficient in mechanical systems (diesel, hydraulics, electrical etc.)
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate directly with Manufacturer
  • Own essential hand tools
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb, sit, stand for long periods of time, and occasionally lifting 50lbs supported or unsupported – and work inside and outside in various climates, temperatures, and/or adverse conditions
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and pass a criminal background check.
